CALASIAO, Pangasinan — Pangasinan sizzled under extreme heat on Sunday, May 24, as the heat index reached 48 degrees Celsius at 3 p.m., the highest recorded in the province so far this year, according to the Pangasinan Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (PDRRMO).
