Our correspondent İsmail Arı, who has been targeted for his reporting and the truths he has uncovered, has been held in prison since 22 March. The indictment prepared against journalist Arı was accepted by the Ankara 2nd Criminal Court of First Instance on 13 May, 52 days after his arrest. The indictment seeks a sentence ranging from 2 years 3 months to 8 years 3 months for our correspondent on charges of "publicly disseminating misleading information" and "violation of confidentiality." İsmail Arı will appear before a judge on 5 June.
