"Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced on Monday that he has ordered the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) to 'increase the strikes' and 'power' against Hezbollah, despite an ongoing US-brokered ceasefire. "Just in the last few weeks, our heroic fighters have eliminated over 600 terrorists. I want you to know this - over 600 terrorists - but we are not taking our foot off the gas," Netanyahu stated. "On the contrary, I said to step on the pedal even harder," he declared. "What this requires of us now is to increase the strikes, to increase the power. We will strike them hip and thigh." Following Netanyahu's announcement, the IDF announced that it is striking 'Hezbollah infrastructure sites' in the Beqaa Valley and other areas across Lebanon. The IDF added that its troops had struck more than 70 'Hezbollah infrastructure sites' across Lebanon on Monday, deploying approximately 85 munitions. According to the statement, in the Tyre region alone, forces hit roughly 10 command centres, weapons depots and other facilities allegedly used by the Lebanese group. This comes as a US-brokered ceasefire is still meant to be in effect, amid ongoing talks between the Israeli and Lebanese sides."
