CEBU CITY, Philippines — A low-pressure area (LPA) located outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) has a high likelihood of developing into a tropical depression within the next 24 hours, the state weather bureau reported. The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said the system may enter PAR this weekend, particularly on Friday or Saturday.
