"The UAE's Operation Chivalrous Knight 3 organised an event to distribute Eid clothing to around 250 orphans at the Al-Rahma Orphan Care Institution in the Gaza Strip on Monday. Footage shows families and children gathered at the institution, where organisers handed out boxes of Eid clothing. The event also included gifts, toys and recreational activities for the children. "I extend my deepest thanks to Gallant Knight, who helped me clothe these children. Even if it is simple, it has lifted a great burden from my heart," said Nirman, the grandmother of five orphaned children. “I extend my thanks to the 'Gallant Knight 3' team for standing by the Palestinian people during this difficult time. Eid clothing has been provided for the children," added Aed Adeb Al-Daya, the grandfather of orphaned children. Alaa Abdel Rabbo, field work coordinator for Operation Chivalrous Knight 3, said the initiative included Eid clothing for around 250 orphans, along with toys and gifts, to bring joy to children living through difficult conditions. The Emirates News Agency (WAM) reported on May 20 that a new aid convoy carrying Eid clothing had entered the Gaza Strip as part of Operation Chivalrous Knight 3. According to WAM, the convoy included 40 trucks carrying 600 pallets of Eid clothing, with a total weight of 540 tonnes, designated for children in Gaza. The agency said the shipment was intended to ease suffering and bring joy to children amid the territory’s difficult humanitarian conditions. The UAE launched Operation Chivalrous Knight 3 on November 5, 2023, under the directives of UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, to provide humanitarian support to Palestinians in the Gaza Strip following the outbreak of the Israel-Hamas war on October 7, 2023."
