BURIRAM, May 13: Buriram United FC coach Mark Jackson says his side head into the second leg of the 2025/26 ASEAN Club Championship Shopee Cup™ final against Selangor FC fully refreshed and tactically prepared after enjoying a rare weekend without competitive action. The defending champions carry a narrow 1-0 advantage into Wednesday’s showdown at Buriram Stadium following last week’s first-leg victory at MBPJ Stadium. Jackson admitted the unexpected break, made possible after Buriram’s earlier elimination from the Thai League Cup, has provided the team with valuable recovery and preparation time. “I’ve had to remember how to work a week in advance really, I’d forgot about that,” the Englishman said with a smile.
