Saylani to perform collective Qurbani at over 200 locations

KARACHI: Saylani to perform collective Qurbani at Over 200 locations across Pakistan and Azad Kashmir Saylani Welfare International Trust has finalized all arrangements for its nationwide collective Qurbani operation on the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha. This year, Saylani will perform Qurbani at more than 200 locations across all four provinces of Pakistan and Azad Kashmir, where over 12,000 cows and goats will be sacrificed during the three days of Eid. To ensure smooth execution, more than 200 dedicated Saylani teams have been dispatched to different cities and regions. The meat will be distributed in an organized manner among shareholders as well as deserving families. Approximately half of the meat will be provided to the participants of the Qurbani, while the remaining half will be distributed among underprivileged families. Founder and Chairman of Saylani Welfare International Trust, Maulana Bashir Farooqi, said that Saylani has been serving the public for the past 27 years by making the Sunnah of Hazrat Ibrahim (A.S.) easier, transparent, and fully compliant with Shariah principles. He said that through collective Qurbani, Saylani ensures that meat reaches deserving families who are deprived of this blessing for months, and in some cases, throughout the year. Maulana Bashir Farooqi will also personally oversee the distribution of Qurbani meat among the poor and needy at Saylani Head Office from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. In addition, meat will be transported to remote and underprivileged communities through temperature-controlled trucks to maintain quality and hygiene. Maulana Bashir Farooqi expressed his gratitude to all Pakistanis as well as donors from the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Turkiye, and other countries who participated in Saylani’s collective and individual Qurbani arrangements. He said Saylani volunteers will fulfill this sacred responsibility with complete dedication, ensuring that all Shariah requirements are strictly followed. Copyright Business Recorder, 2026
