Lesco to ensure continuous power supply during Eid

LAHORE: The Lahore Electric Supply Company (Lesco) has announced to ensure uninterrupted electricity supply and the prompt resolution of consumer complaints during Eid-ul-Azha. According to a spokesperson for Lesco, 24/7 complaint centers and duty rosters have been activated at the subdivision, division, and circle levels across all formations of the company. The administration has also directed field teams to ensure the immediate replacement of faulty transformers, while keeping trolley-mounted transformers, essential tools and equipment, and emergency response teams readily available to handle any fault or breakdown without delay. All officers and staff members have further been instructed to remain in constant contact with consumers and keep their mobile phones switched on at all times to ensure swift coordination and response. The spokesperson stated that providing the best possible services to consumers during Eid-ul-Azha holidays remains Lesco’s top priority. Citizens have also been advised by the company not to tie sacrificial animals near electricity poles or power lines and to keep them away from electrical installations and transformers to avoid any accidents or safety hazards.
