Veteran Korean broadcaster Sohn Suk-hee is returning to MBC radio as a DJ for the first time in 13 years, marking another high-profile comeback to the network where he built his reputation as one of Korea’s most influential current affairs hosts. Xportsnews has learned that Sohn will host a newly launched program in the noon time slot on MBC Standard FM as part of the network’s upcoming programming reshuffle. The slot is currently occupied by “Son Tae-jin’s Trot Radio,” hosted by singer Son Tae-jin. The program will reportedly move to a different time slot following the reorganization. Sohn previously hosted the influential MBC radio current affairs show “Sohn Suk-hee’s News Focus” from 2000 to 2013.
