"Shocking video captured early on Thursday shows civil defence teams searching for survivors following an attack on an apartment in the city of Sidon, southern Lebanon. The footage also showed ambulances and several injured people including women being transported to hospitals. Lebanon’s media reported that two missiles hit a flat in a multi-story building in the Qiya'a area of Sidon, at a around 2 am local time. Israel had not commented at time of publication. The strike comes as the Israeli military continues to issue daily evacuation warnings to residents of several villages in southern Lebanon ahead of planned strikes. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced on Monday that he had ordered the Israeli army to intensify and increase the strength of its strikes against Hezbollah, saying forces were expanding their ground operations in Lebanon. A fragile ceasefire remains in effect, with talks said to be ongoing between Israel and Lebanon. Some reports suggested Israel's forces had gone beyond their so-called 'yellow line' in southern Lebanon, which it says is intended to stop Hezbollah attacks. Israel has indicated it intends to establish a 'buffer zone' inside Lebanese territory stretching from the border to the Litani River, an area equivalent to around 10% of the country. "
