MANILA, Philippines — A suspected clandestine illegal drug laboratory was discovered in Occidental Mindoro, the Philippine National Police (PNP) said on Thursday. Operatives found the site on Golo Island in Sitio Kaybunga, Barangay Bulacan, Looc town, last Tuesday afternoon, following a tip from a suspect earlier arrested in Batangas, according to PNP chief Gen. Jose Melencio Nartatez Jr. “Initial reports from the ground showed that several chemicals allegedly connected to the manufacture of illegal drugs were recovered during the raid,” he said.
