Death toll in Angeles building collapse rises to 6

ANGELES CITY — Another body was retrieved from the collapsed nine-story building in Barangay Balibago here at 12:40 a.m. on Friday, raising the death toll to six. Responders confirmed the sighting of another body at around 9 p.m. on Thursday as retrieval efforts continued at the unstable disaster site. The discovery came less than a day after responders retrieved the fifth fatality from the site following nearly 14 hours of retrieval operations in Sector 1 of the collapse area.
