PNP boosts patrols to curb crime vs youth as school year starts

MANILA, Philippines — The Philippine National Police (PNP) is intensifying its street patrols ahead of the opening of School Year 2026–2027 in a bid to combat petty crime and gang activities targeting the youth. “Our primary focus remains the total safety of millions of returning students,” PNP chief Gen.
