MANILA, Philippines — A Cavite-based cargo company is facing criminal charges for abandoning at various ports more than 100 containers containing thousands of balikbayan boxes meant for overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) and their families. The Bureau of Customs (BOC) on Friday filed criminal complaint affidavits before the Department of Justice (DOJ) against the officers and employees of Makati Express Cargo, Inc.
