MANILA, Philippines — The Department of Labor and Employment (Dole) will revert to the five-day workweek arrangement starting June 1, 2026 after complying with a compressed work schedule for energy-saving measures due to the Middle East conflict, the agency said on Friday. According to Dole, this came after Labor secretary Francis Tolentino on Thursday signed a memorandum agreement effective for all Dole bureaus, services, regional offices, and attached agencies.
