BACOLOD CITY—A 43-year-old man wanted for a violent May 2025 election day shooting in Silay City, Negros Occidental has been arrested. The shooting last year killed two people and left eight others injured. The Police Regional Office Negros Island Region (PRO NIR) said police officers captured the suspect, identified only by his alias “Clar,” during a manhunt operation in Purok Paho, Barangay Rizal, Silay City on Thursday, May 28.
