President vows to bolster country’s economy

MORO: President Asif Ali Zardari has resolved to bolster the country’s economy, saying that Pakistan must be made economically strong. The President, while addressing a public gathering in Moro, said that all work undertaken had been carried out in accordance with the 1973 Constitution. He said that together with the establishment, and through collective effort, the country would be strengthened and its institutions made firmer. The President said that governing the country remained the central issue, and the matter concerned Pakistan alone. Zulfikar Ali Bhutto and Benazir Bhutto accepted martyrdom for the country, he said. The President said that Pakistan exists, and therefore all citizens exist together with it. He said India was given a lesson in a brief week-long conflict. He said no drone had flown over his residence, while drones had been flown over the residence of Narendra Modi. The President maintained that only those Indian aircraft were brought down which had crossed into Pakistan after carrying out bombardment, while forty Indian aircraft remained on Pakistan’s radar but were not brought down. He said Pakistan’s population was rising and there should be no shortage of food supplies. The President added that Russia broke apart due to food shortages rather than financial constraints. He said he had envisioned Gwadar Port, and that Gwadar Port would be developed by Pakistan. The President stated that Balochistan would be improved, and Pakistan would be shaped in a manner that future generations would not suffer hardship.
