Taytay, Rizal sizzles anew as heat index hits 45.4°C

LUCENA CITY — The municipality of Taytay, Rizal is experiencing dangerously high temperatures after recording another extreme heat index on Saturday, May 30. In a public advisory posted on its Facebook page at around 11:15 a.m., the Taytay Public Information Office (PIO) said the town’s heat index, or “real-feel” temperature, reached 45.4 degrees Celsius as of 12:20 noon.
