Rider killed, back rider critical after hitting pole in San Fernando

LAPU-LAPU CITY, Cebu — A 21-year-old motorcycle rider died while his female back rider was left in critical condition after their motorcycle crashed into an electric pole along the national highway in Barangay North Poblacion, San Fernando town, early Saturday morning, May 30. The fatality was identified as Franz Ruel Cabanada, 21, a resident of Buhisan, Barangay Labangon, Cebu City. His back rider, Riolyn Trisana, 20, also of Buhisan, Barangay Labangon, sustained serious injuries and remains under medical observation at a hospital.
