It’s still dislocated! One side of the two muscles that move your vocal folds is just like [clicks tongue and gestures to the side]. I felt it click in my throat! Yeah, it was bad. I remember the show. I knew something was wrong but I just kept singing for probably a year afterwards. Every now and then I’d go and see an ENT specialist and they’d take a look. The first one said, “Your vocal fold is dislocated – we rarely see this. How are you singing?” I said, “I don’t know, it seems kind of fine to me!” When I warm up, it starts to go back into place.
