'More powerful, more united!' - Tehran marks 90 days since start of US-Iran war with massive rally

"Massive crowds rallied in Tehran on Saturday as Iran marked 90 days since the war with the US and Israel began. Footage shows demonstrators gathering at the Revolution Square, chanting while waving Iranian and Hezbollah flags. IRGC members can also be seen showing the fast attack boat '27 Rajab' for the first time. Local media reported that the newest boat is equipped to carry two long-range cruise missiles with a strike range of approximately 700 km and can handle 3-meter waves. "When the attack on Iran took place on February 28, the assumption was that the Iranian political regime and the social structure of Iran would collapse in less than a few days," Iran’s Minister of Cultural Heritage, Tourism, and Handicrafts Seyed Reza Salehi Amiri stated. "But today, we have passed the 90-day mark; the Iranian political regime is more powerful, and the people of Iran are more united," he continued. The negotiations between Iran and the United States have yielded no agreement to date. US President Donald Trump requested amendments to a draft Iran agreement with Tehran, according to US media reports. The United States and Israel launched a joint military operation against Iran on February 28. The Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei was confirmed dead, with his son, Mojtaba Khamenei, selected as his successor. Since then, Tehran responded with retaliatory strikes on Israel and several countries in the region. On April 8, Trump announced a two-week ceasefire with Iran, paving the way for negotiations to end the conflict, later extending it 'until Tehran presents its proposals,' with no deadlines. Pakistan-mediated talks between the United States and Iran, held in Islamabad on April 11, wrapped up without a breakthrough. The second round is still stalled amid ongoing diplomatic efforts."
