PRC responds as two Victory Liner buses crash in Benguet

MANILA, Philippines — Two Victory Liner buses figured in an accident in Taloy Sur, Tuba, Benguet on Saturday, May 30, the Philippine Red Cross (PRC) reported. The buses had 87 passengers on board, the PRC said. At least 67 passengers were injured and taken to hospitals. The PRC said 52 patients were brought to Baguio General Hospital, while 15 were admitted at La Union Medical Center in Agoo. The PRC dispatched two ambulances as part of its emergency response. Responders transported two patients to Baguio General Hospital. Welfare teams from the PRC have been deployed to the hospitals to assist affected passengers and their families, help verify patient information, and coordinate immediate welfare needs on the ground. The PRC said it continues to monitor the situation, coordinate with authorities and hospitals, and validate the status of affected passengers.
