Foreign tourism in Finland rises in April

Foreign visitor numbers in Finland increased in April, helping push total overnight stays at accommodation establishments above last year's level despite mixed regional results. Preliminary figures from Statistics Finland show that accommodation providers recorded 1.48 million overnight stays during April 2026, up 1 per cent from the same month a year earlier. The increase was driven by international visitors, whose overnight stays rose by 4 per cent to around 330,000 nights.
