"A bull that escaped from its owner went on a rampage in a barbershop in Istanbul’s Sultanbeyli district, after smashing through the glass storefront, in what was a close shave for employees and customers. Footage filmed on Tuesday shows the runaway bull charging into the crowded barbershop before exiting the premises and roaming through nearby streets as residents attempted to chase it down. The Sultanbeyli Municipality confirmed that its operations room received an emergency report from residents in the Hamidiyeh neighborhood about a rampaging sacrificial bull that had entered a commercial establishment. According to the municipality, animal control teams equipped with tranquiliser guns and sedatives were immediately dispatched to the scene. “The teams managed to track the bull through the neighborhood’s alleys and subdue it after intensive efforts, without any serious injuries,” the municipality said in a statement. Authorities later handed the bull back to its owner so that Eid al-Adha slaughter procedures could be carried out safely. "
