PPP cannot hide inefficiencies through verbal rhetoric: MQM

KARACHI: The spokesperson of MQM Pakistan today accused the People’s Party of severe corruption and ineffective governance, claiming that their poor performance cannot be concealed merely by verbal rhetoric. The MQM representative said that issues of illegal land grabbing and corruption have become common in Karachi, even included in the conversations of the city’s children. According to the spokesperson, the situation has gone beyond the limits of press conferences, suggesting that instead, the corrupt leaders of the People’s Party should apologise. The spokesperson also criticised the outcome of the 18th constitutional amendment, calling it a stain on Pakistan’s democratic fabric. This criticism points to the ongoing debate about the amendment’s impact on governance. Furthermore, the MQM spokesperson predicted the early demise of the People’s Party’s government, advising Sindh government officials to prepare for their final salaries as, according to them, the ‘tyrannical’ days of the People’s Party are numbered. This latest verbal attack highlights the increasing political tension in Pakistan’s political landscape and the growing demands for accountability and reforms.
