KP CM praises KSA for Hajj 2026 arrangements

PESHAWAR: Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Muhammad Sohail Afridi has expressed profound appreciation for the Government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) for the excellent arrangements made for Hajj 2026, acknowledging the Kingdom’s exceptional efforts in ensuring a peaceful, well-organised and spiritually fulfilling pilgrimage experience for millions of pilgrims. In a letter addressed to the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Pakistan, Nawaf bin Saeed Al-Malki, the chief minister conveyed his sincere gratitude on behalf of the Government and people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for the outstanding facilities, meticulous organisation and gracious hospitality extended to pilgrims during this year’s Hajj. The chief minister noted that pilgrims from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa particularly appreciated the high standard of services, facilitation and care provided throughout the pilgrimage. He said that the successful management of Hajj 2026 reflected the Kingdom’s unwavering commitment and remarkable dedication to serving the guests of Allah with excellence and devotion. Muhammad Sohail Afridi stated that the Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa deeply values the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s continued efforts in facilitating pilgrims and ensuring their comfort, safety and spiritual well-being during the sacred journey. The chief minister also expressed his desire to meet the Saudi Ambassador at a mutually convenient time to personally convey his gratitude and discuss matters of mutual interest aimed at further strengthening the longstanding fraternal relations between Pakistan and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Reiterating his appreciation, the chief minister thanked the Saudi leadership and people for their exemplary services to pilgrims and extended his highest regards to the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
