Sabungeros probe: 1,400 human bones recovered from Taal Lake

MANILA, Philippines — Around 1,400 of the 2,000 bones recovered from Taal Lake have been identified as human remains amid the ongoing investigation into the disappearance of cockfighting aficionados (sabungeros), according to the Philippine National Police Forensic Group (PNP FG). “The total number of human bones we have identified, after examinations, is 1,400,” FG Director Col.
