CIDG field unit ordered to review alleged EJK cases in Davao Region

MANILA, Philippines — The Davao Region field unit of the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) has been ordered to account for the alleged extrajudicial killings (EJKs), its director said. “Of course, it’s an order. We are going to comply,” CIDG director Maj. Gen. Robert Alexander Morico II told reporters in a briefing in Camp Crame on Monday. “Right now, the Regional Field Unit 11 was already directed to account for these cases,” he noted.
