"Well, yesterday we celebrated Trinity Sunday in the church calendar, and that is a time when we remember that God in his essence, in his inmost being, is three persons in one being. Now that's quite hard to get your head around. And theologians have been wrestling with that for 2000 years. "In fact, Saint Augustine said it is hard to understand, but if we could understand it, it would probably not be God. So it's okay for some things to be beyond our human minds. But in essence, what it means is that God is a trinity of relationships. "The father loving the son from all eternity in the Holy Spirit, the son loving the father also in the Holy Spirit from all eternity.
