Evan Vucci / REUTERS President Donald Trump has issued a bonkers excuse to attempt to explain the legal carnage happening in his administration. One in five lawyers working for the federal government, which works out to be over 10,000 people, have left their jobs since Trump’s second term in office, according to a report in The New York Times . Colorado Attorney General Phil Weiser told the Times that he hired 22 lawyers from across the federal government in the past year.
