No regular chief secretary for now, IAS officer K K Pant given additional charge

Senior IAS officer Kamlesh Kumar Pant has been given the additional charge of Chief Secretary in Himachal Pradesh. He currently holds positions as Additional Chief Secretary and Financial Commissioner. Pant will continue to oversee Revenue, Forest, Home, and Vigilance departments. He also chairs the state pollution board. Pant is a 1993 batch IAS officer and a BTech graduate from IIT-Kanpur.
