Zardari approves appointment of Acting CJ of FSC

ISLAMABAD: President Asif Ali Zardari has approved the appointment of the Acting Chief Justice of the Federal Shariat Court. According to an official statement, the President approved the appointment of Justice Dr Syed Muhammad Anwar as the Acting Chief Justice of the Federal Shariat Court. Justice Dr Syed Muhammad Anwar is the senior-most judge of the Federal Shariat Court. The appointment was made on the advice of the Prime Minister. Copyright Business Recorder, 2026
