KGM Musso pickup hits 10,000 cumulative sales milestone just 5 months after release

KG Mobility said Tuesday its Musso pickup truck has surpassed 10,000 cumulative vehicles in global sales since its January launch, reinforcing the brand's dominance in Korea's domestic pickup market. The Musso reached 11,538 vehicles in combined domestic and overseas sales through May — 6,642 sold in Korea and 4,896 exported — less than five months after hitting the market. KG Mobility, more widely known as KGM, said the milestone reflects both steady domestic demand and strong export performance. KGM holds an 86 percent share of Korea's domestic pickup market for the January-May period, based on combined sales of 10,360 units across the Musso and its battery-electric sibling, the Musso EV. The company said that figure extends a run of approximately 25 consecutive years as Korea's top-selling pickup.
