Sea the light - Gwangalli Beach in Busan dazzles visitors with glowing installations

"Gwangalli Beach in South Korea was transformed into a glowing seaside display with the opening of a major nighttime light installation themed 'Sea of Light.' Footage filmed on Monday shows visitors taking photos of the illuminated waterfront, where giant whales, sea turtles, a fisherman and schools of fish lit up the beach. The installation, launched ahead of the annual Eobang Festival, combines the area's traditional fishing heritage with modern light and media art. Locals and tourists were seen flocking to the beach to see the neon marine sculptures and glowing displays. "I think it's very pretty. It was the first thing that caught my eye when we crossed the street, so we wanted to come and check it out," said a tourist. Another visitor, Shin Young-su, said the sculptures were especially impressive after dark. "The lights sparkle even more at night. It's really fun and feels quite romantic," he said. The 'Sea of Light' installation will run until June 14."
