GOQii moves SC over higher customs duty on fitness trackers

GOQii Technologies has approached the Supreme Court. The fitness tech company wants a decision on customs duty for its imported bands. It argues they are pedometers, not communication devices. The Customs Tribunal classified them as communication devices. GOQii states Bluetooth is only for data syncing. The company claims the devices work independently.
