"Centres for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) Administrator Mehmet Oz, widely known as TV's 'Dr. Oz', on Tuesday said emphatically that US President Donald Trump's health records are 'spectacular'. He was also quick to stress that the president's visit to a medical centre last week was a 'routine, regular exam'. "If you look at these records, they're spectacular. You know, his cholesterol, his blood pressure, all the numbers are sitting in excellent parameters," Oz said, while holding one such report during a White House press briefing. Dr. Oz was asked why Trump continues to go back for checkups he is in such good health. "I think he likes the results. He does really well," Oz replied. "He aces the test every single day [...] He is curious to make sure everything's going in the right direction." "That amount of energy and that amount of mental acuity does not exist in a vacuum. You have to have a vessel to carry it. And the president has a unique ability to just keep going at all hours of the day with remarkable strength," he reiterated. Trump visited Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Maryland last week — his third visit in 13 months. Last week, the White House also released a memo on Trump's health, detailing the results of his recent physical exam. "President Donald Trump remains in excellent health, demonstrating strong cardiac, pulmonary, neurological, and overall physical function," the memo read, adding that his leg swelling had improved. Speculation regarding his health also grew after people noticed a visible bruise on his left hand and swelling on his ankles. Trump turns 80 next month. Dr. Oz was also asked for "medical advice for the Americans out there that are suffering from a very serious ailment called Trump Derangement Syndrome?" "Treating stupid is really hard. And it becomes a real problem," he responded."
