LPA to enter PAR by Thursday, Friday; wet Wednesday in parts of Luzon

(Photo by Pagasa) MANILA, Philippines — A low pressure area (LPA) may enter the Philippine area of responsibility (PAR) by Thursday or Friday this week, the state weather bureau said on Wednesday.  Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) weather specialist Aldczar Aurelio said that as of 3 a.m., the LPA was spotted some 495 kilometers northwest of Pag-asa Island,Palawan.
