At least 12 people were killed and four others wounded in Israeli strikes across southern Lebanon on Tuesday, according to the Lebanese National News Agency, reported Xinhua. An Israeli drone targeted a vehicle in the town of Qlayaa, killing a man and his two children. Another Israeli drone strike left one dead in the town of Ramadiyeh. Later on Tuesday, in the town of Doueir, an Israeli airstrike on homes killed four people. Two other people were wounded in the strike. Elsewhere, an Israeli drone strike on the town of Ebba killed a citizen and wounded two others, including a Syrian national. A drone strike on a vehicle along the Habboush highway killed a citizen and wounded two Lebanese soldiers. Israeli drone strikes also targeted the city of Nabatieh and the village of Kfar Sir, leaving one dead in each. Meanwhile, Hezbollah said its fighters carried out a series of overnight attacks against Israeli forces in southern Lebanon. Also on Tuesday, President Joseph Aoun said in a statement that Lebanon had suffered more than 3,000 deaths, over one million displaced people, and widespread destruction of homes since the conflict began. "There is no option other than negotiations," Aoun said, adding, "Strength does not lie in waging war, but in having the courage and wisdom to end war through negotiations in the interest of the country." The Public Health Emergency Operations Center at the Health Ministry said the cumulative toll of Israeli attacks since March 2 had reached 3,468 dead and 10,577 wounded as of June 2.
