Susanna Reid pictured during Tuesday's edition of Good Morning Britain ITV has apologised after inadvertently broadcasting the C-word at around 8am during a recent edition of Good Morning Britain . During Tuesday’s instalment of the daytime show, hosts Susanna Reid and Ed Balls interviewed former Eurovision star Delta Goodrem , before asking her about her recent appearance at the Mighty Hoopla music festival over the weekend. Unfortunately for GMB producers, they then cut to a clip of the Australian singer’s on-stage performance, not realising that a fan in the Mighty Hoopla crowd could be seen holding a colourful fan emblazoned with the C-word, which they aired in its uncensored form. A spokesperson has since told The Sun : “We apologise to any viewers offended by the accidental appearance of the expletive which was featured in concert footage.” They added that “as soon as the error was discovered it was corrected, and didn’t appear in the +1 and ITVX versions” of the GMB broadcast. Since then, in addition to her Mighty Hoopla set, she appeared on stage at the Royal Albert Hall as a surprise guest of Lulu . The Lost Without You singer also teased more UK shows in the future to promote her upcoming album. She told Susanna and Ed: “We have some [sold-out] shows [coming up] but we’re so excited to announce some new shows soon to head back here with the new album, and be able to celebrate that and sing all the different songs that are on that.” The new album, Pure, will be Delta’s first since 2021’s Bridge Over Troubled Dreams. Good Morning Britain airs every weekday from 6am on ITV1.
