Death toll in Angeles building collapse reaches 25

ANGELES CITY, Pampanga — The death toll from the collapse of a nine-story building under construction in Barangay Balibago rose to 25 on Thursday after another individual was recovered from the rubble as retrieval operations continue despite heavy rain. The Unified Command said the latest victim was extricated at 3:45 p.m. from the debris field, where search, rescue, and retrieval teams have been working since the structure collapsed before dawn on May 24.
