Kuwait airport hit by Iranian drones as US-Iran talks stall

The fragile ceasefire in the US Iran war was tested overnight as Tehran launched a series of drone and missile attacks on Kuwait, hitting and severely damaging its international airport. Kuwaiti authorities have insisted that missiles are being intercepted while the US has launched what it calls self-defensive strikes on the Iranian military ground control station on Qeshm Island in the Strait of Hormuz in response.
