MANILA, Philippines — House lawmakers have expressed hope that the Senate will resume its work following the election of Sen. Sherwin Gatchalian as acting Senate president, after two consecutive days without a session. In a statement on Wednesday, Mamamayang Liberal party-list Rep. Leila de Lima and Akbayan party-list Rep.
