West Bengal Cabinet approved 32 acres for BSF fencing along the Indo-Bangladesh border in nine districts. Additionally, the state's subsidized food program, 'Maa Canteen,' will be rebranded as 'Ma Ahar' and expanded to 500 centers. The Cabinet also formalized June 20 as 'West Bengal Day' and announced a groundbreaking ceremony on July 6 for a Dr. Syama Prasad Mookerjee statue.
