Jennifer Aniston And Lisa Kudrow Have The Same 'Funniest' Memory From Friends

Lisa Kudrow and Jennifer Aniston interviewing one another for Variety's Actors On Actors Jennifer Aniston and Lisa Kudrow couldn’t keep in their laughter as they reminisced about their time on Friends for Variety’s Actors On Actors . The former co-stars spoke to one another about their work in The Morning Show and The Comeback , respectively, for the interview series – but naturally kicked things off by reflecting on their 10-year stint in the cast of Friends. Lisa – who recently rewatched the award-winning sitcom for the first time – recalled: “I did love, with all my heart, all of us, including me, cracking up when Ross was playing bagpipes.” “Nothing funnier,” Jen responded, to which Lisa agreed: “Come on!” “And then, ‘sing along!’, and Phoebe’s like, ‘OK sure!’, and she doesn’t know it’s a song,” she continued as both herself and Jen collapsed into laughter. “She doesn’t know what song it is!” View this post on Instagram Widely-shared behind-the-scenes footage from the taping of this season seven scene shows that the entire cast struggled to keep a face as David Schwimmer ’s character tried his hand at playing the bagpipes, with the hopes of doing so at Monica at Chandler’s wedding. Lisa then conceded that she was always “the worst” for breaking character in Friends’ funniest moments. “When I watch it, I’m just like, ’oh, I’m fully laughing at my own [joke],” she admitted. Elsewhere in the interview, Lisa shared another of her favourite scenes, when Matt LeBlanc ’s Joey confides in Phoebe that he’d slipped on an oyster that he thought was a “giant booger”, leaving her “cracking up in tears” when she revisited the season eight scene. This isn’t the first time in recent history she’s sung the praises of this line delivery, though. While still in the middle of her Friends rewatch, the Emmy winner told US talk show host Jimmy Kimmel that she’d laughed “so hard” when watching the scene back that she’d even texted Matt LeBlanc about it.
