UAE announces end-of-year exam schedules for students in grades five to twelve

The UAE Ministry of Education has approved the dates of the exams for the end of the third semester of the academic year 2025-2026 for students in grades five to twelve in public and private schools that apply the Ministry's curriculum. Accordingly, the exams will start on June 24 and continue until July 3, marking the end of the current academic year. The exams for students in grades five to eleven will start on Wednesday, June 24, with mathematics, followed by English on June 25, science or specialised scientific subjects on June 29, Arabic language on June 30, Islamic education on July 1, and social studies on July 2, while some tracks will conclude their exams on July 3 with biology. As for the twelfth-grade students in the general, advanced, and elite tracks, their exams will start on June 24 with mathematics, followed by the English language test on June 25, then chemistry on June 26, physics on June 29, Arabic language on June 30, Islamic education on July 1, social studies on July 2, and exams concluding on July 3 with biology. Students in the applied track will start their applied mathematics exams on June 24 and continue until July 2. The Ministry has set the period from June 15 to 19 as the date for the delivery of the final tasks and projects of Group B subjects, for all grades and study tracks covered by the central exams. The Ministry also set the guidelines and controls for the exams, stressing that the exams for grades five to twelve will be held electronically within public and private schools that apply the Ministry's curriculum, with students obliged to bring their computers on the day of the test. The written test in the English language for twelfth grade students will be electronic, as part of the evaluation procedures approved for this academic year, while eachers will not be allowed to read the questions of the central exams for students inside the exam committees. The Ministry confirmed that the twelfth grade students registered in private schools will take their exams in public schools under the supervision and coordination of the competent authorities, in order to ensure the unification of the procedures for the application of central tests at the state level. According to the approved dates, students from grades five to eleven take their exams during the morning period from nine in the morning to eleven in the morning, while students in the twelfth grade take most of their exams from twelve noon to two in the afternoon according to the approved schedule for each study track.
