SSS: New pensioners to receive pension hike by September

MANILA, Philippines — The early implementation of the 2026 pension increase of the Social Security System (SSS) this June will not benefit new retirement, disability, and survivor pensioners. They will have to wait until September to receive the increase. This as only pensioners on record as of May 31, 2026 are covered by the advanced rollout.
