Hawaii man charged after threats to kill Whitmer, carry out State Capitol shooting

Federal authorities say a 48-year-old from Honolulu emailed MSP and Whitmer's office that he planned to target the Democratic official over her political affiliation and take an AR-15 into the Capitol to 'shoot it up and kill as many people as possible.'
