Lindh lands maiden Asian Tour title with stunning final-hole eagle in Morocco

RABAT, June 8: Sweden’s Charlie Lindh produced a sensational final-round charge, capped by a dramatic eagle on the 18th hole, to claim his maiden Asian Tour title at the US$500,000 am green IGPL Bharath Classic in Morocco. The 28-year-old carded a tournament-best eight-under-par 64 to finish on 18-under overall, overturning a three-shot overnight deficit and winning by four strokes. Thailand’s Settee Prakongvech, who began the day in the lead, struggled to maintain his momentum and signed for a 71 to share second place at 14-under with American Charles Porter, who closed with a 66.
