The sons of Nottingham attack victim Ian Coates have hit out at the failure of the emergency services to swiftly respond to their father following Valdo Calocane's attack. Speaking to GB News, Lee Coates told Martin Daubney: "Without mentioning certain names, we all know that the 15 hours that my dad was lying there was utterly disgusting. It doesn't matter how anyone's fallen, that should never have happened. "In the inquiry, what was brought to light of certain officers proactively asking to go out and continue their search and being told to stand down, the CCTV that never got properly looked at until afterwards. "I think if the police, especially Nottinghamshire Police, put the energy that they do once it's hit the fan into being proactive and going for these people before anything happens, then the community would be in a much, much better place."
