KP CM issued non-bailable arrest warrants

ISLAMABAD: A district and session court on Monday again issued non-bailable arrest warrants for Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Sohail Afridi in a case registered against him by the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) over his controversial remarks about state institutions. Senior Civil Judge Abbas Shah, while hearing the case, issued the warrants against Afridi due to his non-appearance before the court. The court ordered police to arrest the chief minister and produce him before the court. The court adjourned the hearing of the case till June 18. Copyright Business Recorder, 2026
